“A painting requires a little mystery, some vagueness, and some fantasy. When you always make your meaning perfectly plain you end up boring people”

― Edgar Degas

I have recently taken an art diploma and I am currently exploring my "style" and the medium I paint in.

Whilst it is clear that I am staying true to the abstract work I have demostrated in the past I have found inspiration from artists such as Lucian Freud, Christian Hook, Henri Asencio and the work I see on social media.

I enjoy the way the application of paint becomes part of the narrative and have posted some of my studies along with a recent interpretation of a baby and dog photo, plus some digital work which I will be selling prints of in the future.

I am able to offer owners the opportunity to be painted along side their animals and if you feel you would like to explore this concept please do get in touch.

I have also recently discovered the possibilities of digital art and am experimenting with that, this medium offers a very cost effective option, against the traditional portraiture, so please do enquire if this is something of interest.
