Commission Your Own If you would like to commission a pet portrait please do not hesitate to contact me. I work from photos of your pet producing a graphic black and white portrait, incorporating vibrant background colours. My pet portraits are simple in style yet capture the essence of your pet. I paint using acrylics on canvas or board. All pet paintings are varnished to protect the final image. There are a few things to bear in mind regarding a pet portrait.  Choose a favourite photo of your pet - be it cat, dog, rabbit, horse, guinea pig, goldfish, budgie or even a human relation for the painting. This needs to be a clear sharp image that portrays them well. Interesting or unusual poses work well. Alternatively provide a selection of photos, and I will decide the best layout for the portrait. Is there a background colour you would prefer for the pet painting? If you are not sure I can advise you -have a look at the pet portrait gallery for some ideas of what's possible. Have a think what size you would like. The larger the pet portrait, the more impact it will have.
